Who are you writing for?
When you are writing consider a new starter to your business, or a new external partner. Keep language as jargon free as possible. Feel free to share only the business information you feel appropriate - with external partners, you can always ask them to sign an NDA.
What does your business offer in terms of products and/or services?
This worksheet captures your organisation’s products and/or services in detail.
In our Business Purpose worksheet that you hopefully completed, you outlined your offering at a high level. Here, the aim is to more clearly describe your core products and/or services so that others can understand what you provide, who it is for, and how it is delivered.
Choosing your offerings
Choosing your offerings
- You do not need to list everything your organisation provides. Instead, focus on your core offerings — those that are most important, most common, or most relevant to your business.
- Your offerings should align with your key audiences. If you are also completing our Your Audience worksheet, these two areas should naturally reflect eachother.
- If you have more than eight offerings, either focus on those that are most important to your organisation or use additional worksheets.
How to proceed
- Use the sections below to describe your main offerings.
- You may wish to start with lower-cost or entry-level offerings, and build up to those requiring greater investment.
- If your organisation spans multiple websites, brands, or business units, consider completing separate worksheets.
